I was just reading over my chapter in U.S. history for my test on Monday. The word asunder was in one of the side stories that a soldier was recapping from the Seven Day's Battle during the Civil War. I thought it was kind of funny because we were talking about it being an old-fashioned word that Kennedy used in his speech, and I remember thinking that I have never seen or heard that word before. Now I have an understand better how Kennedy was trying to include his audience.FutureDevilDoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16078784449124327165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5759877969108017178.post-73045347997285963432007-12-09T09:42:00.000-05:002007-12-09T09:42:00.000-05:00Well, that's one of the coolest comments I've ever...Well, that's one of the coolest comments I've ever gotten. I had been working on it for a while and multi-tasking; so that, I could watch Blazing Saddles at the same time. I began to walk in my room while watching the television, and Mel Brooks busted out with "Four scores and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation". It freaked me out!!! It seems that things like this happen to me often, and most of the time, they have to do with English, especially last year. There were so many things that I never noticed before on shows and in books before you taught us all of that information. It is pretty cool; so, I just wanted to thank you.FutureDevilDoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16078784449124327165noreply@blogger.com
