Just Words?

Just Words?

What do you think?

A political attempt by the Clinton camp to either sabotage Obama's populist appeal or to distract the public from his momentum. No doubt Penn, or whoever engineered this was hoping for a result ala Joe Biden 88.

The truth is of course Obama and Deval Patrick shared similar criticisms of "just words" and Patrick, an Obama supporter, shared ideas on how to combat it. So there is no actual plagiarism, but even with an acquittal, an inditement can still be damaging in the court of public opinion.

It could work or it could backfire, since the Obama camp is now releasing video and transcripts of Clinton "plagarizing" rhetoric from: Bill Clinton, John Edwards and even Obama himself.

I guess we'll find out soon enough, but even looking at it objectively: this reeks of desperation.

it was said that Deval Patrick and Obama shared lines often with each other. Obama made a public statement saying that he apologized for not giving Patrick his credit but that it was known about and approved. They have known each other for a very long time. I agree with omninuto when they said that Clinton's campaign is losing momentum and will pick up on any loose change that Obama drops.
