Haha Ms. Hassenplug this is great! I don't think that anyone could make it through this even if they tried really hard to do so.

Ms. H,
We just did the first chapter in 'The Things They Carried,' in my Intro to World Lit. class and I was all like, been there, done that. We talked about the repetions that were used and whether Tim O'Brien was acutually the narrator. Then we divided into groups and wrote down what each man carried. And that was the extent of our discussion. We are only writing one paper this semester too and she practically gave us our topics. I'm writing a paper on the importance of setting in 'The Things They Carried,' and 'Hills Like White Elephants,' by Ernest Hemingway. This class is a piece of cake thanks to you! As an added bonus because I by some miracle passed the AP Exam, I placed out of Writing Skills, which was supposed to be a lot of work, and a general elective. A million times thank you.

Glad to hear the class was valuable! I know I liked it! Since you're the expert on TTTC, challenge your teacher to go further!
